About
I never know what to write on these types of pages. I hope my posts give people an idea of who I am without me writing some boring bio page. Nonetheless:
I’m 30-something happily married woman, my husband & I have been called “dink”s (double income no kids) by our friends with families, and we’re glad to be so. That’s not to say that we won’t have kids ever - just not yet. He’s on a faster timetable than I but as we all well know, he can’t do it alone.
For work I’ve pursued the web since college - rather, the only job out of college I could get was coding HTML for a now-defunct internet consulting firm - so it stuck. Years later and I’m trying to get out. I write for eHow.com as their Computers “Expert”, and I’m doing a few odd jobs to fill in the time.
I play the bass guitar, I write, read a lot - for fun, I use glue, paper, paints & other stuff to make new things more commonly known as art (at least, I hope it’ s art), I think way too much and occasionally do what I’m thinking (much to the dismay of some
). I work, I spend time with friends, my art supplies or relax on my big comfy couch with my husband.
Although I think my life rather plain, I’ve been told otherwise - but I don’t believe them. I’m always looking for ways out of things I don’t want to do, but end up doing them anyway since “that’s just the way life is” and end up complaining about it on my blog or in my journal, or my frustration reveals itself on my canvasses & watercolor paper.
I guess that’s me. I dislike summing myself up in any number of words. I don’t like coloring anyone’s perception of who I am before they really get a chance to know me, but that’s the limitations of language & this medium (the internet).
So take what I say with a grain of salt. If we should ever meet, forget you ever read this.
