Used water soluble stabilizer and machine-embroidered this “M” – it was going to be an entire word, but my neck started hurting…

Washed off the stabilizer & re-formed the letter by gluing it into my moleskine.

Turn the pieces, try every possibility
They still don’t fit

just turned
another piece that doesn’t fit

The plans you worked to make right
just failed
another piece that won’t fit

The Perfect Job where you worked hard
just worked you over
yet another piece that can’t fit

Somehow fitting all the corners, edges,
working your way in
they start to fit

Just the way they should…
