Contrary to what I’ve posted on my blog, lots has been happening (or not-happening) lately. Apathy and inactivity were creeping in and threatening to take over. Bringing home work related stresses and straining relationships injected bouts of depression & anger. Yeah, not a good spot to be in.

Motivation wanes, dreams get lost in a mad effort to survive, friends are neglected, God is shoved to the side like a useless wad of kleenex, exhaustion rears its lethargic head every morning and never seems to leave.

Change is coming. It’s hard to drag yourself out of a hole you’ve dug yourself into for so long, but I know it’s worth it, and I know I’m not doing it alone.

Here’s to reclaiming dreams & living now instead of when I’m retired.
